Snow Storm '13
This is what I woke up to this morning. New England, and in New York, Suffolk County in particular took a beating. We had about a foot and a half of snow dumped on us in the past 24 hours. In some ways its almost pretty, until I remember how people are still sitting in half finished houses from the Hurricane 3 months ago. This region has had its fair share of storms to last us a while. If you have no where to go, this is the life. God Bless the Smithtown Highway Dept. who does an amazing job during all of this for what I imagine is very little money.

I'm still around
I'm still around. Still living in Smithtown for the time being. I think its time I posted on here again. I know its been an incredibly long time and life has changed for myself quite a bit. One constant has been the town I know and love. Just re-reading this blog recently, there has been some changes in only a few short years. Boulder Creek closed a few years ago. However, many other places have reopened in the time.
I work in the city now or well have been for 2 and a half years. While the lure of moving closer to work is something that is appealing to me, I find myself still in love with Smithtown and all its pleasantries. Perhaps later I will post about the changes I've noticed both in myself and in my town.
Check back often for some more posts.
